Another Community Service Initiative by RIOCOCO

Although police stations are often regarded by elders as places that provide legal solutions to many village, regional, and provincial issues,
they don’t always feel welcoming for innocent little ones.
With the intention of offering a sense of ease, freedom, and happiness to young children who visit the police station with their parents or guardians,
a children's park was constructed within the premises of the Katupotha Police Station in Kurunegala.
This initiative was carried out at the request of the current Officer-in-Charge of the station, Mr. Pushpitha.
The park was officially opened on 19th April 2025, with the generous sponsorship of Mr. Shan Halamba, the esteemed Founder and Chairman of Riococo Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.
